AMCRYLATE (ISO AMYL 2 CYNOACRYLATE) A Bio Adhesive

'AMCRYLATE ' is a advanced gamma sterlised, non pigmented, non toxic, non-allergic
and bio static tissue adhesive. It allows rapid wound closure with minimal scarring,
reduces the risk of post-surgical infection and trauma, besides being simple & safe to
use.

Properties:
Amcrylate is sterile, non-toxic, bio-compatible, hemstatic, and bacterio static.
Amcrylate a monomer but when it comes in contact with moisture it gets converted
into polymer. Amcrylate is a inert material. Amcrylate solidifies rapidly within 5-10
seconds. Amcrylate is an inert material. Amcrylate solidifies rapidly in alkaline media
and slowly in acidic media. Amcrylate does not get absorbed into the blood stream.
Amcrylate does not react to the tissue fluids. Amcrylate is bacterial free and is
unaffected by any other bacteria.

Application
APPLICATIONS:

SUTURLESS SURGERY:
Rejoining veins, arteries, and intestines sealing and reinforcing suturelines.

ENT SURGERY:
To rejoin bones in the middle ear in mastoid surgery and to stop nose bleeding.

Vascular Surgery
In Bonding skin and bones or teeth to tissue or to the bones in the mouth.

Cosmetic Surgery:
To replace or supplement sutures thus reducing scaring

Dental Surgery:
Tooth sockets can be sealed after extraction.

Peridontal Surgery:
To reduce post operative pain.

Sterilization:
Male sterilization through a non-surgical technique.

METHOD OF USAGE:
Precise approximation of the skin edges must be carried out before applying
AMCRYLATE. The areas to be closed should be as dry as possible. After applying
Amcrylate press the tissues together for one minute. No correction can be made once
the adhesive has dried up.

Other Information
CONTRA INDICATIONS:

Amcrylate should not be used for the closure of the wound on the surface of the brain
or on the central and periphal nervous system.
